I have real nappy hair, I want it to be straight, like caucasian,indian,asian hair ect.

I want it to be able to get "wet" when I take a shower, Is this possible? If so, any suggestions?

You could try to go to a salon and get it permed straight (with chemicals) or do it yourself. If your hair is long enough to you could flat iron it too but I'm not sure. I have thick nappy hair too but it's long so I flat iron it.

Funny, you should condition them daily. Yeah wash them may make them start breaking, but new ones will be softer

Most definitely try the salons for people of color. They do an utterly fantastic job of straightening and softening hair. Then be certain to ask them which products you can buy and use at home. You'll be soooooooooooo much happier. :%26gt;)

i read your previous questions and maybe you should just step in front of a speeding bus since you have such a problem with your ethnic identity.

for the child of parents "actually born in Africa and not the ghettos of America", living in the suburbs seems to have caused you to remove yourself from all things associated with being black in America. i agree in casting off some categorizations that are placed upon us like rap music and gangsta attitudes. but try not to shun other things we were placed upon this earth with like kinky or "nappy" hair on your head or on your face.

hopefully you will find confidence in truly being yourself and one day cease to find things to be changed or replaced with some imposed ideal.

So YOU call ME an IDIOT for almost asking the same question in a roundabout way, something with our nappy hair. So what was that about seriously? You were being somehwhat hypocritial.

Anyway since I don't like to condescend people I try suggesting mousse or gel first. I havent tried if yet for my hair but I'm hoping i get it like that, too
