I am NOT looking for an online boyfriend or anything, I just want to know if I am good girlfriend material. I'm 15 and have never had a bf. I am about 5'3", oliveish skin, mild backne but usually zit-free face, wavy dark hair, slim but with short n curvy legs. People find me pretty and I have a bit of exotic asian looks, but I don't think I'm stunning. As for personality, I'm agreeable and smart and I would give my all to my bf. I know how to laugh at jokes but I also know how to have serious conversations. I'm a nice person even if I am a bit reserved at first. I'm kinda conservative (not politically) but I love unexpected adventures and things.

Is there something I'm lacking in appearance or personality? Or is it just the right person hasn't come along yet?

ok you sound like a good gf. Don't worry about finding a bf let him find you. And when you do get a bf watch out. The boys around your age want more than what you are tring to give. Alot of boys are into playing head games watch out. Make sure he is true bofore you go off and give him your heart. But don't be scared to either you young and inocent. Keep it.

You're perfect for me though. I'm turning 16. I think the right person hasn't come along. As for me, no girls have come along yet so I'm usually single, I don't find anyone fit for me. I'm 5'10"ish, asian, tan, athletic, friends supposedly say I'm cute/hot/sexy/ or whatever. I do everything you do, I'm amenable, smart, and I can be a very serious person. I'm quite conservative myself.

If you dont' think you're stunning, then you're lacking appearance, I think you have a great personality. Don't worry about it, your time will come. Just give it some time, the longer you wait, the more you get out of it. Everything's conspired for you. Just got to be patient, buddy.

Take it slow, youll find a nice guy. Myself, i love darker complexions. Remember to ALWAYS be yourself, dont change for anyone. Your really young still, and you will "be in love" many times before you find a guy to marry. My opinion, do not get too serious untill you have finished high school and are at least in college. Well, I can tell you that you are perfect girlfriend material - in a few years. At this moment, no one your age is as smart as you are. They will never appreciate you. I'm in the same situation, I'm 15, and I'm half asian half american. Every says I'm handsome, and that I'm intelligent, and ...well....yeah. But, because of the immatureness that surrounds me, nobody goes for me. Basically, you'll have to wait a few years before guys go after you (thats when they supposedly get smart). *Sigh.

Sounds like you have a lot going for you. My guess is that guys may feel a bit intimidating around you. Just be yourself and try not to be too shy. Try to hang with your girl friends every moment of the day. Guys like to ask girls out when they are alone. The do not want to be turned down with an audience watching. Don't be afraid to make eye contact and smile. Guys are insecure at that age and they are more comfortable around girls that are approachable.

If I was there and met you (from what you described would totally date you) (ok, no I would not).... and it would not be because your not pretty, from your description your gorgeous. Stop worrying about it!! Girls your age are always too self-involved. It's YOU that you need to be happy with. When you are, This shows through to everyone you meet. You are fine. most girls don't really start going out with guys until their twenties anyway!! Yes, It's true. I never had a bf in high school, but when I was twenty?? They were everywhere. Trust me, you'll know when the right person comes along. My first real boyfriend I dated for 3 years, and at the time I thought he was "the one"...but it was preteen/teen romance, and ended when we were 15 (due to him moving and meeting another girl). Although I did fall in love with him, I moved on and realized that I couldn't come across "the one" that fast. Things happen in time and although I connected amazingly to my first bf, up until we were 14 or so, it may have been more of a friendship. My next few boyfriends were not the same and I made the mistake of comparing them to him, which you should never do. I fell in love with one other guy last year, but that didn't work out for many reasons. I dated a guy 11 years older than me in December for a month or so until I realized I was still a kid and wanted to have fun during my senior year, not be tied down to someone who was jealous of even my girl friends and wanted me around 24/7. I still haven't found that perfect guy, but I have hope. I definitely think you're dateable, everyone is, you just have to find a guy, like him and trust him, and make sure he likes you for your personality and not just your looks...it always makes the relationship better. I hope you find someone, maybe this upcoming school year you'll find an amazing guy. (And you still have the summer to check out all the guys, haha)
