I look just like my avatar. blond hair blue eyes, i know a lot of black people who look like me, but people don't say that to them. and so what that my dad is Asian and my black is black. i will not say i am mix! all black people are mix because of slavery, yet they can say they are black and not me. and if there was still slavery right now i would be a slave, who cared what my dad was, as long as one of my parents is black i am two.

I have dark skinned dominican friends who say they are not black but people do not believe them.sorry to tell you, but i u look white you will be considered and treated as white.

Yep, back in the slavery days they said if you had one drop of Black blood, you're Black. I have cousins who are "mixed," they may be a quarter White, a third or whatever, but they look Caucasian. I don't know why someone would say "yeah right" to you when you told them your race, that's pretty rude. Just ignore them and move on. And 2nd, I'm glad you're proud of who you are. I know some people who are half Black, but they don't look it and they claim up their other half to the fullest because they don't wanna be associated with the Black race. You go girl!

The more you get hung up on this color thing, the more mental problems you will have. Honestly though, I can only fault your parents because it seems that they did not sit down and talk to you about self love before they let you out into the world. I knew the N word was bad from the time I was so young and I was taught to love myself first then others at a young age as well.
