You are just like me!! I'm half black and half Philippine. Well, with my hair, I can flat-iron it and I'm too afraid to get a relaxer/perm because I don't know if I can keep it up. If I were you, try buying a flat-iron with a temperature control and don't forget to buy a good shampoo, conditioner and leave in conditioner. Wash your hair, then blow dry it really really good. Then set the temperature to whatever you think your hair can handle and straighten it.

Well how long is it? That matters, but I had a short wavy style before, almost cut like a boy. With a good shamppo and conditioner it looks great with a nice shine. Longer wavy curly hair looks good with that wild natural kind of look, especially with biracial people. Just kind of even it out. For updo's Those twist styles are really cute too.

Why is it that whenever I hear about a missing person it is almost always about a white girl? Are abductions exclusive to white females who are usually blondes or have light brown hair? I never hear about a cute little black girl getting this much attention (I'm sure there are black girls being abducted) or even a cute little south Asian, Hispanic, Aboriginal, Irish, Oriental, and so on. I don't even hear about male abduction. Is a cute little light haired white female a better story to sale?

It makes it seem like the thousands (yes, sadly) of kids that are abducted every year in Europe don't even exist. It's horrible, sad, voyeuristic, misleading, disappointing and disturbing.

What happened to all the missing children that turned up in Belgium locked in soundproof rooms? Did anyone look for them? The current case is media driven, by high profile professional parents. There are all sorts of abductions - particularly inter country where the parents of different nationalities are dragging their offspring across international boundaries in custody battles. I doubt whether we would even know of 1% of abductions if the victim is of little interest in the media.

I watched the Tyra show yesterday and there were 4 girls on there, 1 white, 1 black, 1 asian, and 1 hispanic and these girls were judging other ones based on what they thought was beautiful when it comes to skin color, hair, weight, heigh, and other features. the comments they made were very hurtful. one gurl said her culture thinks have Dark skin is "dirty'' and having white skin is "pure and beatuiful" why do these concepts still exist today, it's sad. another girl was being judged for her nose, the black girl said her nose looked like a Gorilla's nose, isnt that mean? i thought she was pretty.......if you watched the tyra show yesterday you would know what I was talking about

i had to watch tyra at lunch yesterday its the only channel we get and i work with two girls but yea that show was pretty whack i mean how are they gonna choose one woman to represent an entire race of people??? the girls i work with are white and were absolutley disgusted by the white woman on the panel...they disagreed with most everything she said.... i didnt find it to be very accurate or for that matter very interesting.

It's wrong to judge someone on their skin color or body shape. You can't control your skin color. I think that you should only judge someone by their heart.

I totally agree with you. I think it is so wrong that that attitude is being rewarded by putting them on air. I really hope Tyra was not encouraging this. That really sounds like a step back from where we are trying to go with this whole judgementle mentality.

I'm adopted by white family, I grew up with them too. I'm the only one Asian in the family. This I knew from high school graduated in the past two years. She knew I can cook, take responsible, mature and family oriented. She have blonde hair, brown eyes, and specially she's American. She have been asked me to marry her about twice questions. I really have difficulty to answer her, I'm afraid she could cheat on me if I marry her. Should I trust her to marry her? she drive me home often all she does is helping my mom at home everyday.

I'd say yes to her. Just because she's American does not necessarily mean that she'll cheat on you. but don't say "yes" to her until you have full 100% confidence in her. You'll know when you're ready for marriage. But she seems to be a great girl and that she helps out a lot with the family =)

I am a 21-year-old Chinese male and I want a full-blown beard. I think I have a small percentage of Mongol/Manchurian/Korean/"Siberian" blood in me (by the way, I'm 6 feet 2, muscular, etc, appearing very masculine with a beard but a little fem w/o one).

I actually have somewhat of a beard and have been shaving ever since 7th or 8th grade. It grew a lot more noticeable over my teen years, except the bald patch about my jawlines. I have a mustache too, tho no hair really on my cheeks and the 'stache and beard are not linked up or connected togehter. I like my bearded look, but Asian's black hair type just doesn't have as many strands as brown or blond hair types, and my beard's goatee part under my chin is thin, though mustache and sideburns are prominent.

Frankly, i'm too LAZY and busy to shave. It takes me up to 30 minutes to shave everything nicely. I read that the clean-shaven look is nice for attracting stupid, rich, gullible Korean girls, but.. yeah I'm laaaaaazzzyy
